Biography

Joe and his wife Julia (Rhodes) along with his sister Mary (Chastain) Odom and husband, Will Odom, migrated to Missouri in 1892. Joe and Julia settled in Springfield where Joe earned his living in industry, first possibly with the Telephone Company and later on with one of the Railroads where he was working at the time of his death in 1927. He returned to his place of birth once, which was in 1897.[1] Joe is buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Clever, Christian County, Missouri, USA.[2]
