Biography
William James Chasteen was born on 22 May 1841 in Clear Creek, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. [1] He was the son of Brightberry Gentry Chasteen and Sarah A. Clark. [2] [3] He married Elizabeth Ann "Eliza" Dooley. [4] [5] [6] [7] He passed away on 19 March 1912 in Rockcastle, Trigg County, Kentucky. He was interred in Johnetta Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. [1]
