This page about their son Paul Hypolite Chauvin[4] has Louis Marie Chauvin [pere]'s death as 1754, when Angelique was about 33. She [then?] moved to St. Genevieve, Missouri, still in the French Colony, with [Pol], his younger brother Louis (a two-year-old toddler), and an infant son Pierre. She died there in 1791. Her son Louis, who married Marianne Francour, died there in 1819. (No sources given for Louis' death in Missouri.)

  3. To find this entry at Louisiana Melting Pot, search for "5 Louis Marie CHAUVIN" (without the quotes; "5" is the generation).
  4. "Pol" was apparently a nickname for Hypolite, so "Paul" may not have been his actual name
