Mary Cheetham was born in about 1793 in Windle, Lancashire.
Mary married John Anders (or Andrews) on 17 Apr 1815 at the church of St Mary The Virgin in Prescot, Lancashire. Both were of the local parish, and neither had been married before; John was a collier. The witnesses were Thomas Kilshaw and Alice Marsh.
Their daughter Margaret was christened on 14 Mar 1819 at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. Her father's occupation was recorded as collier, and the family's address as Windle.
Their son John was christened on 26 Nov 1820 at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. His father's occupation was recorded as collier, and the family's address as Windle.
Their son James was christened on 8 Jun 1823 at the church of St Mary The Virgin in Prescot, Lancashire. His father's occupation was recorded as collier, and the family's address as Eccleston.
