Joseph Chenard, was born 1 Jul 1787 in Rivière-du-Loup en Haut, Province of Québec. He married Marie Ann (Castonguay), 16 Feb 1841 (to 1 Jul 1859) in St. Roch-des-Aulnaies, Quebec. They had a son, Cyprien Chenard. Joseph Chenard, died 30 Jul 1862.

Note: Louiseville is only created in 1870s, from Rivière-du-Loup getting renamed.
