Biography
Thomas Miller Cherry was born on 28 January 1832 in Claysville, Guernsey County, Ohio, United States, son of Moses Reed Cherry (1808–1891) and Sarah Miller (1808–1884).

She was the first school teacher in Deer Lodge. S. Bingham Cherry (1868 – 1887) died at 19 years old. Elizabeth A Cherry (1870 – 1917) married Andrew Holland John Houston Cherry (1872 – 1951) married Esther Sarah Kemper (1878 – 1970) Laura Alice Cherry (1874 – ?) married C. H.
