Biography
Benjamin was born in 1765. He passed away in 1830.
Son of Benjamin Cherry and Mary Peterson. Husband of: #1 Mary ?, #2: Rebecca Crawford. He may have been married 3 times, but this is uncertain. Exact dates of birth and death are not known as burial records have not been found. It is believed that Benjamin was born in Pennsylvania, lived for a period of time in Franklin County, Georgia, and then moved to the Cumberland region. It was there that he met and married his final wife, Rebecca Crawford. Benjamin had at least 9 known children, with possibly more unrecorded female children.[1]
