Solomon Chestnut was born 29 September 1879 in Horry, South Carolina and was a farm laborer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.^[1] He was of medium height and build.^[1] He married Florence (1901-) about 1924 according to their answers on the 1930 US Federal Census.^[2] Their children according to the 1930 US Federal Census:^[2]

Research Notes

A Solomon Chestnut (B. 1880) was married to Emmer Jane Livingston (Willard) (1881-1924). She was the daughter of Joe (Phillip) Willard and Mary (Merry) Livingston.
