Biography
Elizabeth Chestnut, daughter of James Chestnut and Elizabeth (Connor) Chestnut, was born on 19 Feb. 1849 in Marion County, Iowa.[1] She appeared on the census of 12 Sep. 1850 in the home of her parents at Marion, Iowa.[2] She appeared on the census of 1856 in the home of her mother Red Rock, Marion, Iowa.[3] She appeared on the census of 20 July 1860 in the home of her mother at Red Rock, Marion, Iowa.[4]
She married Josiah Allen Wilbur on 13 Sep. 1866 at Marion County, Iowa.[5][1]
She and Josiah appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 at Jasper, Jasper, Missouri.[6]
Elizabeth died on15 May 1936 at Jasper, Jasper County, Missouri and was buried at Medoc Cemetery, Medoc, Jasper County, Missouri. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
