Biography
Lucille (Chestnut) Dewitt is a part of US Black heritage.
Lucille was born about 1905. She was the daughter of James Chestnut and Nettie Bellamy. She passed away in 1938 during childbirth due to acute nephritis. [1] She was the wife of Walcie Dewitt and was a housewife. She was buried at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. [1][2]
