Biography
G Chestnut is a part of US Black heritage.
G H Chestnut was born about 1860.
He passed away from general arteriosclerosis and senile dementia in 1920 at the Florida State Hospital for the Insane in Chattahoochee, Gadsden County, Florida.[1] He was a widowed, "colored" man, age about 60, who had been a turpentine hand. Prior to his admission, he had lived in Okaloosa County, Florida. He was in the hospital for 6 months, and 22 days. Burial was in the Florida State Hospital Cemetery, Chattahoochee, Gadsden County, Florida.[2]
