William was born about 1796.
William married Susanna Sims on November 12, 1827 in Newton, Georgia.
In the 1850 census, he was in Jefferson county, Florida. His daughter Martha was born in Georgia in 1835 and the next child in the census, John, was born in 1839 in Florida along with the rest of his children.
