Biography
Mother of Curtis Charles McKinney.[1]
In 1900 May C. McKinney was married to Edward (sic) McKinney and they were living in the city of Portland, Oregon. May was aged 31, born August 1868 in California; her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother in California. Edwin and May had been married 7 years. She was the mother of 2, 2 then living: Earl McKinney age 6 b Apr 1894 in Oregon and Curtis McKinney age 2 b Aug 1897 in Oregon.[2]
Research Notes
The 1910 Census says Edwin is married but no wife is with him and his sons.[3]
US Census, 1920 Edwin was a widow with his two sons. Contradiction between census and certificate. Census says Edwin was a widow. Marriage Certificate says divorced.
