Margaret Chevalier was born in May, 1882 in Ontario, Canada, daughter of Francis Chevalier (~1842– ) and Matilda Lerette (~1856– ).[1]
Maggie married Thomas Little (born in April, 1875 in Ontario). Their children were:
Maggie died on January 11, 1958 in Windsor, Essex, Ontario, aged 75. She was buried in North Ridge Cemetery, Kingsville, Ontario.
LITTLE, Margaret (nee Chevalier) - The community was saddened en Friday evening when the news of Mrs. Thomas Little's sudden death was known. Mrs. Little had returned from a two weeks holiday visit from Detroit and seemed her usual self on Friday morning when the young couple, who are making their home with her, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Moore, left. At five o'clock when the Star Carrier boy, Richard Robinson, arrived at her home, he found she had passed away, earlier. Mrs. Little was born here, May 7th, 1882, and resided here most of her life. Her husband pre-deceased her June 30th, 1958, and was a retired farmer. Mrs. Little, always a good neighbour left a host of friends, besides to mourn her her passing a daughter Florence, Mrs. Orville J. Ellis of Detroit; a son Wallace A. of St. Thomas; seven grandchildren and five to great-grandchildren. A daughter Gladys, a brother William Chavilla, of Cottam, and two sisters Annie, Mrs. Wm. Wade and Mary, Mrs. Cunningham of Detroit pre-deceased her. Funeral. was held Monday afternoon from. S. L. Kennedy Funeral Home with the Rev. N. S. Anderson officiating. Burial in Family Plot in North Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Little's six nephews acted as Pallbearers, Alvin R. Ellis of Detroit, William Ellis of Livonia, Kenneth Ellis of Grand Rapids, Wallace A. Little Jr. of Windsor, Marvin Little of North, Bay and Ray Little of St. Thomas. Published January 16, 1958.
