In the 1901 Canada census, Isidore Chiasson (30) was married to Irène Chiasson (23). They were living in St Joseph, Nova Scotia, with their daughter Marie (2).[2]
In the 1911 Canada census, Isidor E Chiasson (40) was married to Irene Chiasson (33). They were living in Grand Etang, Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada, with their children Elie Jean Chiasson (7), Itta Tease Chiasson (4), Cathrine Chiasson (2) and Joseph Chiasson (1). Also living with them was his uncle Morcetha AuCoin [Aubain] (56), his aunt Elizabeth Aucoin (57) and his aunt Esther Doucet (58), and a servant Sebrina Poirier. He was a farmer. The transription suggests they were born in Nebraska, as the place of birth is listed as N.E.; however he is listed as Canadian, and this is more likely Nouvelle Ecosse, the french spelling of Nova Scotia.[3]
In the 1921 Canada census, Isidore Chiasson (50) was married to Irene Chiasson (43). They were living in St. Joseph, Nova Scotia, with their children Alexandre (17), Itat Rose (14), Joseph (11), Marie Emma (10), Maggie (8) and Levi (6).[4]
