Biography

Birth & Upbringing: Darius was born in the Victoria District in 1949.
Occupation: Policeman - joined the BSA Police in October 1967;Reg. No. 19467; served until June 1979
Demise: Killed in action - terrorist action while serving as a Sergeant with Duty Uniform in Mt Darwin (Operation Hurricane), Rhodesia [1] [2].
Burial: Darius Chibaya was buried at the Warren Hills Cemetery on 6 July 1979 following a semi-military funeral[3]
