Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1824 at Walton, Somerset, married William Stone in 1844 at Walton and died at Wingham, NSW in 1863. The cause of her death was Tuberculosis. William and Elizabeth Stone immigrated from England to NSW, Australia aboard the ship "Eastern Empire" arriving on 29 Nov 1862.Their 4 surviving children, Robert 16, Susan 15, Ann 10 and Joseph 7yrs also made the journey. Elizabeth died within months of arriving in the colony.
