Biography

Hamilton was born in 1836 and passed away in 1917. He published gazetteers (map books) and business directories of counties in New York, including Ulster and Jefferson, and neighboring states. His assistant was William Stanley Child (born June 1865, son of Naylor Child and Julia Rogers).
