Biography
Estella Mary Childs was born on 26 Apr 1893 in the Village of Centerville, Town of Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts, USA. She was the daughter of Wilton Childs and Emma McKenney. In her late teens, she attended nursing training at Union Hospital in Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts.
On 9 Jun 1920 Estella married Patrick Joseph Halloran. They had a son born late 1920 named Herbert Halloran.
On 25 Aug 1925, there was a fire in the house that caused the death of both Estella and Herbert. The Boston Globe, Boston, Massachusetts, 31 Aug 1925, Monday, Pg 13. Here is a link to the article describing efforts to save them.
She and her son, Herbert, passed away 25 Aug 1925.
