Biography

Ebenezer Childs III was born in 1723 in the Town of Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, Colonial America to Ebenezer Childs and Hope Huckins. He married Hannah Crocker in 1746 and they had four children, three sons and a daughter. There is some confusion as to the name of child #2, Joseph or Josiah (see Research Log). Hannah died in 1755 and he married, second, Abigail Freeman in 1756. They produced five children, two sons and three daughters. When or where Ebenezer died is uncertain at this time.
