Jane (Childs) McGregor was an Assisted Immigrant to New South Wales.

Jane Ann Childs was born in 1840 in Hilton, Huntingdonshire, England to Jane Fordham, age 24, and Edward Childs, aged 23. [1]

Jane was christened on 22 Nov 1840 at Hilton, Huntingdonshire, England, United Kingdom

Jane and her parents arrived to Australia on 24 Nov 1849 aboard the vessel Una, she was 9 years old at the time of her arrival. [2]

She married Dugald McGregor (1833-1910) on 21 Feb 1860 at the Babtist Chapel Morpeth (Morpeth is a suburb of the city of Maitland in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia) [3]

Jane and Dugald had four children during their marriage. Alexander McGregor (1861-1934), Samuel McGregor (1862-1866), Duncan McGregor (1863-1942) and Edward James McGregor (1866-1940)

She died as a young mother in 1866 in Newcastle, New South Wales, at the age of 26. [4]

Hi Rod, I agree that there is some incorrect information on Jane Anne (Childs) Kratz (bef.1840-abt.1868), but there is enough information to indicate that they were intended to be the same person, and therefore, I think, should be merged. I can't find anyone else who Childs-1712 could be. Ok for the two profiles to be merged if the incorrect information on her profile is corrected?
