Biography

Maggie was born in April of 1876 in the town of Pine Log in Barlow County, Georgia. She was born to Peter and Martha Chilson. In the 1900 Census she was in Cherokee County , Texas with her Brother, mother and her husband Joseph B Lewis.

Maggie and Joseph got married the 21st of August 1889 in Caddo, Louisiana

Maggie's husband Joseph Lewis died December 14, 1900 and she had two young children, Mary and Clara.

Maggie Married Josephs brother Jackson Shial Lewis, March 5 of 1893 in Caddo, Louisiana

During her marriage to Jackson she had 6 more children.

I don't have a death certificate for Maggie yet but she died the day after her last son was born, so my assumption is complications from child birth, the child died a few months later.

Maggie died August 29, 1917 and Anderson Texas
