Flower had an older sister Mary and an older brother John, Mary was five years old when Flower was born and John was four. Sadly Mary died when Flower was only two and a half. However around the same time another sister was born and she was also given the name Mary. A little before Flower was four years old her youngest sister Ann was born, so Flower grew up with an older brother and two younger sisters.

Just a year after she married, Flower's only brother John died.
Flower and her husband John had a eight children, but two of them, both named Flower after their mother, died in early childhood. Their first child John was born in 1730 and named after his father. Two more sons were born in 1735 and 1737, they were Peter and James. In May 1738 the second Flower died but before the end of the year another daughter was born and given her name Flower The youngest child, another daughter, Ann was born in 1740.
In 1755 Flower's husband John died at the age of fifty. Flower outlived him by 21 years.
Flower died in late November or early December 1776 and was buried at St. Mary Timsbury on December 3,1776. [3]
