Biography

Henry was born in 1851. He is the son of Richard Ching and Jane Harris.[1] He married Elizabeth Hannah Jellyman in 1877.[2]

Henry Ching was a farmer in Stoke, Nelson, New Zealand.[3] He was the brother-in-law of Mrs Emma Ching, widow of John Harris Ching. Emma went on to marry Joseph Simmonds. Henry acted as the executor of Joseph's estate after he died in 1889.

He passed away in 1929[4] and is buried in the Seaview Road Cemetery, Nelson.[5]
