Biography

John Hancock Chipman was born in 1770. He was the son of John Chipman and Eunice Dickson.^[1] John was a merchant and sea captain. He married Elizabeth Osborn on 3 Dec 1789.^[2] John died from yellow fever on his way home from Pennsylvania.
