I would be happy to accept the Amos Newell profile and the others in my Grandmother's lineage.

Her family line in this country goes back to 1634 when Abraham Newell and his family came to Boston from Great Britain.

Paul,

Your accomplishments in WikiTree are impressive and your contributions to "The Tree" are commendable. This evening I took the liberty to add the day and month to the birth date of my 3rd great grandfather's profile (Amos Newell) which you manage. You had the correct year. I acquired that date from my grandmother's genealogy records. So I believe them to be valid. D. Newell Prouty

I'm new at this and somehow overlooked the method of adding an existing profile to my tree. Thanks for taking care of Delia Ensor. I'll do a little more clean up to connect her siblings.

Hi Paul - I came to the same conclusion after going in circles with refs to Louis Charles, Louis Amble, Louis Charles Amable etc. Somewhere I had the b. 1740 and then ended up with 1748 (thanks Tanguay), Anyway I looked at the sources (matched what I had in Family Tree), reviewed comments from Ed then I updated LeBeau-375, rejected the match request and submitted a match to Lebeau-271 as suggested. Hope I don't have another "Louis" lurking :-D.

Thanks for all the help!

Paul, I think I approved a merge of Jean Baptiste Fournier by mistake. I was getting a number of messages about fixing some data for mine at the same time the merge request came in. I assumed they were related but apparently not. Now that I have updated my dates it appears the other JB Fournier was a different person. Mine was born 1808. The other 1804. I believe Zepheran is the son of the 1804 JB Fournier. My apologies. I don;t use this site much and was confused by all of the notes.

Dear Paul, Thank you very, very much for the addition of my paternal 3XGreat-Grandparents,Mr.John Cleary, and his wife Amity(No last name).I noticed on their son,my 2XGreat-Grandfather,Mr.Garret Clear(Clare),s Naturalization Record from 1868,that accordingly,Garret Clare first came to America in 1851 as a minor, aged 15 years. No mention is made however of his parents,so it seems that he possibly came here without them.Your records for Garret Clare,s parents indicate that they both probably died about 1850 over in Ireland, which would explain their absence from his 1868 Naturalization Record,Paul.Anyway, thanks for the additions to my Family Tree,Paul.I really, really appreciate it,my dear sir.Merci beaucoup,Mon Cher AMI Paul, and God bless you,my genealogical friend.

Hello Paul,

The marriage record of Benjamin LEBLANC and Judith COMEAU says they are related to 4th degree. That would be a long task to find out who they are. But you have the right parents. Judith COMEAU is the daughter of François COMEAU dit l'aîné and Marie LEBLANC. This is proven by at least one document.

The baptism record of Simon LEBLANC (Judith's son) dated 1800-03-09 in Carleton (born 1800-02-18 in Maria) says the godfather is Jean COMEAU, uncle of the child. I also found Jean's brothers Grégoire and Osé COMEAU being the godfather of Judith's other children.

But all of this is true only if we change Jean's parent in WikiTree. Please take a look at the Research section for Jean COMEAU
