Annie Chilsholm married John McKay in Urray Ross and Cromarty on the 25th of April 1854[4] and they had at least six children; Isabella possibly born in Scotland and Kenneth, Jessie, Johanna, John Alexander, Annie born in Australia.
Annie McKay died in Lauriston Victoria in 1895[5] She was 67.
