Biography

Doris Chisholm was born April 15, 1927 in Meridian, Mississippi to Hoy L Chisholm and Bettie Irene (Hinson) Chisholm. She was the 2nd of three children born to Hoy and Bettie. She attended Dallas High School. She married James E Douglas on December 1, 1949. They had 5 children. She was employed at Texas Instruments until she and James divorced in 1976. ^[1] Doris moved to Granbury, Hood, Texas, bought a home where she lived the remainder of her life . She passed away June 3. 1999 in Granbury and was interred at Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas. Texas in the Chisholm family plot, next to her brother and parents.
