Biography

Diana was born in 1846 in Louisville, St. Lawrence County, New York. She was the daughter of Harry Chittenden and Lucretia Sutton. By 1840, the family had moved from Chataeugay, Franklin County, New York to Louisville, St. Lawrence County, New York, where his father farmed.[1][2][3][4]

She married John Blair in 1869 in St. Lawrence County, New York. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Bear Grove Township, Guthrie County, Iowa.[5] They had one known child born in Guthrie County, Iowa. He was:

  1. Loren W, b. May 1870, m. Angie Unknown bef. 1905.

Diana died on October 24, 1873, in Bear Grove Township, Guthrie County, Iowa, at age 27. In 1880, her son Loren was living with her sister Ellen, whose family also lived in Bear Grove Township. In 1885, her son was living with his cousin Henry Jordan, her sister Sally's son, whose family lived in Baker Township, Guthrie County, Iowa. In 1895, her son Loren was living with her sister Sally, whose family lived in Valley Township, Guthrie County, Iowa.
