Biography

Father Sir Henry Cholmondley b. c 1549, d. 1614

Barbara Cholmondley married Sir Thomas Belasyse, 1st Baron & Viscount Fauconberg, 2nd Baronet, son of Sir Henry Belasyse, 1st Baronet and Ursula Fairfax, circa 1600.

Barbara Cholmley is the daughter of Henry Cholmeley and Margaret Babthorpe.[1] Barbara married Thomas Belasyse, Viscount Fauconberg, an ardent Royalist during the Civil War. They had seven children.

Barbara Cholmondley died on 28 February 1619. She was buried on 7 March 1619 at Coxwold, Yorkshire, England.[2]
