Biography
Marie Rose was the daughter of Jean Marie Chouinard and Antoinette Pinet. She married Joseph Albert in 1814. Following the death of her first husband in 1832, she married Benoni Vaillancourt in 1833. She died in the Ste-Luce parish in 1858 and was buried in the Ste-Luce cemetery in what is today Frenchville, Maine. Because the parish included both sides of the river at the time of her death, it is impossible to know if she died in Maine or New Brunswick.
