Biography
Marie Angelique was born and baptized 16 Sep 1788 in St-Jean-Port-Joli. She was the daughter of Pierre Chouinard and Marie Angélique Lecler dite Francoeur. Godparents were Jacques Chouinard and Marie Claire Lecler dite Francoeur, no signatures. [1]
On 23 Sep 1833, Joseph Gagnon adult widower of Victoire Pinel Lafrance married Marie Angelique Chouinard adult daughter of Pierre Chouinard and the late Angélique Leclerc. [2]
No marriage record has been found for Edouard Leclerc and Angelique Chouinard. They would have married after May 1836 when her first husband, Joseph Gagnon, died.
Angelique Chouinard, 93 year old wife of Edouard Leclerc, was buried 20 Jan 1879. DOD not specified, burial date used as proxy. [3]
