Hans Christ was born 6 Mar and christened 1 Jun 1890 in Drangedal parish, Bratsberg county, Norway. ^[1] At the time his parents lived at a cotter's farm (Norw.: 'husmannsplass') named Jordbudalen belonging to the farm Ytre Vefall in Drangedal.

Married Caroline Charlotte John (1891-1975).
