Biography
The following description of Christina Christensen is from her sister Dorothea C. Kimball's record book, written about 1921:
This was the one we called our angel sister, too good for this world. She was loved by all who knew her. The tears ran down the cheeks of the elders who spoke at her funeral. She was thought so much of in Sunday School and day school as well. She died just a day or two after she had turned fifteen years of age with the typhoid fever in the third watch. Now thirty three years ago since then and have had ten children, four have died. Father and mother and my brothers Soren and Petter have died. Many times I have wished for this dear sister who was so true to me but she has no doubt been spared from many heartaches and sorrow of which this life is beset and would be cruel to a tender and sensitive heart as hers was.
She was known as "Steenie", had brown eyes and brown hair, and was interested in drawing. She died of typhoid fever.
