Howard Christensen has Danish ancestors
Biography
Howard Lamar Christensen was born 1917 in Redmond, Sevier County, Utah, United States. His parents, Johannes Christensen and Josephine Madsen migrated from Denmark to Redmond, Utah as children when their parents converted to the Mormon religion.
He worked at the Redmond Salt mine and then was drafted into the Navy where he served for two and a half years. After that he worked for his father building and remodeling homes in Salina and Redmond. He then worked for Southern Utah Fuel for twenty five years. His last job was as a mechanic in road construction for L.A. Young Construction.
Howard died on July 11, 2004 in Mayfield, Sanpete County, Utah. He is buried in the Pioneer Cemetery in Salina, Sevier County, Utah.[4][5]
