Biography

Lynn Marie Christensen was born 25 May 1944, in Iola, Waupaca County, Wisconsin, to parents Clifford A and Audrey E (Radloff) Christensen. ^[1]

Lynn grew up in a cabin built by her father on Duck Lake, near Grawn, Green Lake Township, Grand Traverse County, Michigan. She attended a one-room school in nearby Monroe Center and later grades in Kingsley, about ten miles from her home. As a child, Lynn loved dogs and horses, drawing and reading. About 1960, the family moved to Escanaba, Delta County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where Lynn finished high school. ^{[2] [6] [7]}

On 6 October 1962, Lynn married Ronald R Duwe, an airman stationed at K.I. Sawyer air base, near Marquette, Marquette County, Michigan. ^[2]

They moved to the south suburbs of Milwaukee after Ronald left the U.S. Air Force in 1964. They had two sons and one daughter. Lynn and Ronald did factory work and Lynn also worked as a waitress. Lynn and Ronald divorced in 1982. ^{[2] [4]}

Lynn's health declined over the ensuing years, until an aggressive cancer took her life on 20 February 1997.

She is buried in Crystal Lake Cemetery in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. ^[2]
