Biography

  • Oswald, who was known as Os, was born 17 June 1906 in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. He was the son of C. A. Christensen and Marie Petersen, and the oldest of their nine children.[1][2]
  • Os grew up on the Christensen family farm in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.[3][4]
  • On 4 April 1928, Os married Jennie Douglas Rait. While farming in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, Os and Jennie raised four children - 2 daughters and 2 sons. [5][6] Their home was a popular gathering place for their many siblings, nieces, nephews, friends and others. It was a place where people always felt welcome.
  • Os passed away on 28 Aug 1989.
