Deed
19 Jul 1737, John Christian of Westoper [sic] Parish, Charles City County to William Chambers of Goochland, £7, 15 acres in St. James Parish on Wild Boar Branch of Lickinghole Creek, part of a larger tract witnesses: Robert Christian, Charles Christian, James Walker[2]
Research Notes
It's been speculated that this John Christian could be the father of Thomas Christian who died about 1743 in Goochland (land was later in Buckingham). However the patent and deed above could pertain to John Christian, son of his brother Charles Christian, who was of age in 1727 when he was designated executor of his grandfather John Hunt's estate.[3]
For some unknown reason this John Christian and his nephew have both been assigned a death date of "June 1767".
