Biography
Peter Watson Christian was born 12 June 1885 in Uraidla, South Australia. He was the son of Matthew Christian and Susan Albones. [1]
He married Jessie Gates on 17 May 1913 at St Stephen Church, Uraidla. [2]
He enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 15 May 1916, embarking with the 6th reinforcements, 50th Infantry Battalion from Adelaide on HMAT Port Melbourne A16 on 23 October 1916. Peter was killed in action in Belgium on 2 February 1918, and was buried in Spoilbank Cemetery.
