Welcome back and thanks for signing the Honor Code, Sheryl! I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

Check out the How-to pages for some quick tips on working with both the Wiki pages and our other members. There is some great information on those pages.

Hi! Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Hi!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have any questions I can help with?

Eowyn ~ Mentor/Team Member

I will help to grow our shared tree. I do agree with that mission. I want to be a part of this community.

Hello,

Welcome to WikiTree as a guest ! If you are just looking for family or other researchers working on the same names as yours, use the surname search function at the top of the profile page or ask at G2G Forum

If you would like to enjoy the benefits of being a full member, leave us a message here letting us know that you read the Honor Code. If you just want to be a guest, that's ok too but please let us know what you would like to do.

Once we see a message on your profile stating why you want to be a part of our collaborative genealogical community, one of our greeters will confirm you . Enjoy this video done by one of our members about WikiTree video WikiTree
