Charles Wakeman Christmas was born on December 24, 1851 in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, United States, son of Charles Henry Christmas (1824–1890) and Emily Davis (1827–1901).[1]
In 1865, Charles (13) was living with his parents, Charles H Christmas Father M 42 (undefined)Emile Christmas Wife F 41 (undefined) and Charles W Christmas Son M 13 (undefined); his sister, Florence E Christmas Daughter F 9 (undefined); and Hattie A Christmas Daughter F 9 (undefined), Bridgt Maxwell Servant F 20 (undefined), and Ellen Whilelow Servant F 30 (undefined). Charles died on October 21, 1895 in Brooklyn, aged 43. He was buried in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
