Biography

Some people have her listed as Sara Ann Christmas Alston saying she was married to an Alston. I have not found any evidence of this anywhere. Everything I have found has her listed as Sara Ann Alston daughter of Solomon Alston. If this is indeed the case, Sara Ann's son William married his first cousin, Ruthey Alston Hunter because her mother would have been Sara Ann Alston's sister. The Alstons, Hunters, and Greenes apparently lived near each other in North Carolina and there was a lot of intermarrying between the three families that can be seen in the given names - including Alston Hunter Greene.

Alston-1214 and Christmas-425 appear to represent the same person because: There is a conflict of information in who her parents were; some say she was born "Christmas", married an "Alston", then Capt Greene. Others say she was born "Alston". The Christmas profile was created in 2018. The Alston profile in 2021.
