Biography

Grace Church was born on 15 December 1712 in Little Compton, Bristol County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of Joseph Church.^[1]

Grace married Timothy Closson (or Clawson) in 1736.^[2] Their children were:^[3]

1. Mary, 30 May 1737^[4]
2. Ruth, 5 Apr 1739^[5]
3. Phebe, 24 Jan 1744^[6]
4. Thomas, 7 Mar 1749^[7]

Her will is dated 4 June 1788 and proved on 7 July 1788 in Tiverton, Rhode Island.^[8] Her inventory was taken on 28 June 1788.^[8]
