Biography

Grace Church was born on 15 December 1712 in Little Compton, Bristol County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of Joseph Church.[1]

Grace married Timothy Closson (or Clawson) in 1736.[2] Their children were:[3]

  1. Mary, 30 May 1737[4]
  2. Ruth, 5 Apr 1739[5]
  3. Phebe, 24 Jan 1744[6]
  4. Thomas, 7 Mar 1749[7]

Her will is dated 4 June 1788 and proved on 7 July 1788 in Tiverton, Rhode Island.[8] Her inventory was taken on 28 June 1788.[8]
