Biography
Lois Church was born in June 1812 in Amherst, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Samuel Church and Elizabeth Cowles. She married Francis Oakes on October 12, 1838, in Medina County, Ohio. They were farmers ad had six children during their marriage.
Lois died on October 8, 1876, in Richfield, Summit County, Ohio, at the age of 64.
