Biography

Richard was born in 1590. Richard baptized 3 April 1590 Nantwich, son of William Churche mercer, married Isabel, daughter of Arthur Sandford. Richard died on 24 Oct 1651 at Betton, Drayton in Hales, Shropshire.

Will of Richard Churche of Tunstall, Salop, gent, dated 26 March 1644, leaves everything to his executors, deed of indenture dated 20 Dec 16th year (1618) with brother-in-law Robert Sandford and James Proude both of Shrewsbury £1500 for the raising of my three youngest children, second son William £400, third son Robert £300, daughter Margaret £500, by another indenture of same date on marriage of eldest son Thomas he is provided for, daughter-in-law Margaret wife of son Thomas, youngest daughter Elinor wife of William Phillips, son-in-law William Phillips, brother-in-law Samuell Sandford, loving wife (not named), proved 8 July 1652. Inventory of Robert Sandford of Droatun in Hales in 1610 by Richard Church and William Hurley.
