He served in the war of the Revolution as sergeant in Capt. Jesse Harlow's Company upon Alarm of April 19, 1775; service, seven clays. He is credited with several later terms of service in 1777 and 1778.
He married, Oct. 7, 1773, Bathsheba Rider, daughter of Joseph.
