Biography
Samuel was born in 1782. He was the son of John Churchill (1748-1798) and Sarah L. Stacy (1752-1830).
He married Martha Louise Bosworth (1796-1844) in Hartford, CT in 1814. They were the parents of:
- Hannah Louise Churchill 1815-1906
- Emeline Amelia Churchill 1817-1901
- Samuel Harvey Churchill 1819-1895
- John Charles Churchill 1821-1905
- Mary Eliot Churchill 1822-1907
- James Guilford Churchill 1824-1879
- Pliny Fiske Churchill 1830-1857
- Caroline Martha Churchill 1833-1915 (m. Wingard)
He passed away in 1865. He is buried in Mooers Riverside Cemetery.
