Johnny Clagett is a part of US Black heritage.
 

Johnny was born about 1758, likely in Prince George's Parish, Prince George's County, Maryland. In August 1776, he was enumerated as a "Negro Slave", age 18, in the household of Thomas Clagett there.[1]
