COUNTRY BRIDE
MORNING CEREMONY

Miss GWENDOLINE CLANCY, daughter of Mr. J. K. Clancy, of Gunning, was married this morning, at St. Mary's Cathedral, to Mr. James Butler, of Wellington, N.Z., son of the late Mr. Edward Butler and Mrs. Butler, of St. Kilda, Melbourne.

The bridal gown was of white georgette, and a cut tulle veil formed a train and fell in soft folds. The fragrant bouquet was of white gladioli, stephanotis, roses, and frangipanni.

Miss Madge Clancy was the bridesmaid, and wore a French frock, of shrimp pink romaine, with tiny lace frills, and a ribbon hat to match. An early Victorian posy of pink rosebuds and cornflowers was carried. The best man was Mr. Charles Bown.

At the reception, which was held at the Mary Elizabeth, the bride's aunt, Miss Buist, entertained the guests, and wore blue crepe de chine with a navy hat. [3]
