Biography

Per grandson Eldon Branda, Mary was an only child. Her parents were Irish immigrants who settled in New Orleans. A Mary Clancy appears on the 1880 Census with her parents only blocks away from where her future husband and (birth) family were living. She and Peter had about 11 children of which 1 girl & 5 boys survived to adulthood. Her youngest 2 sons remained with her, i married only briefly and the other never marrying.
